Aber Innovation, home to Agxio’s development centre, was delighted to welcome the Rt Hon Mark Drakeford MS to officially open the Innovation & Enterprise Campus following a long delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Our CEO, Dr Stephen Christie, joined in the day of celebrations alongside Agxio advisor, Dr Rhian Hayward MBE.
Dr Christie commented, “I was delighted to meet with the First Minister and other members of his team and to hear the commitment to innovation and investment in the life sciences industry. Agxio’s plans for extending a Centre of Excellence for Applied AI will hopefully be a cornerstone of some of that innovation at the new AIEC campus”.
The Agxio team looks forward to continuing to work closely with Aber Innovation at these world-class facilities and being a part of this innovative community.
