Our knowledge of the effects of livestock production systems are ever growing and we must continue to broaden our current understanding. A recent study has examined three pasture systems used frequently in temperate areas including permanent pasture, grass and white clover and a short-term monoculture grass ley. Researchers have analysed the levels of nutrients that each beef system will provide and have found that beef from temperate grassland systems provides key nutrients for human health.
